Following on from Grades 4-5, the knowledge and skills gained through completion of these qualifications provide a basis for progression to further personal development, lifelong learning and further and higher education opportunities. They incorporate ballet including elements of a freer and progressive style, appropriate for today’s dancer and character – the theatrical presentation of national dance freely adapted for the theatre.
The higher grades also prepare candidates for RAD vocational graded examinations. UCAS points are awarded for the higher grades and vocational grades.
